If medicine could remain objective—if it could revere the laws of nature—then there would be no conflict with what I say.
The moment we put down the title and the role, we all see the same truth:
whoever we are, we must eventually return to our own body.

When I say “stand with the body,” I am not speaking only for myself, but for every body—including yours, and every medical practitioner’s as well.
The contradiction between reality and truth does not lie in facts, but in human position.

The laws of nature have never changed.
The human body has evolved to be nearly limitless in its abilities—to repair, adjust, and regenerate. That is fact.
And medicine’s logic of intervention runs against those laws. That, too, is fact.

So opposition does not arise from truth, but from human conflict.
Change the angle, release the stance, and the world before you transforms completely.

Fasting should not be viewed merely as a wellness method, nor as a tool for detox or weight loss.
Every short-sighted approach fails because it lacks two essential elements — the placement of life and the patience of time.

Looking at the collective disconnection and distraction of humankind today, we must relearn reverence —
reverence for the body gifted by nature,
reverence for the grace that exists between cells, microbes, and time itself.

This land has long given us the answer:
When one learns to resonate with life, the miracle of compounding quietly begins to unfold.

I cannot separate fasting from bodily awareness.
A clean body transmits clear signals;
an unobstructed body invites positive thoughts.
The gut-brain connection offers mystical hints —
even the English phrase “gut feeling” reveals the link between intuition and courage.
Perhaps, in this chaotic human world,
finding oneself is indeed an act of courage.

In my work, fasting and self-discovery almost always appear together —
either one leads to the other,
or one awakens the other.
To help someone find themselves is profoundly meaningful;
to gather a group of people who are at peace with themselves is infinitely precious.

Mindfulness will eventually lead to discipline,
and discipline will one day meet mindfulness —
that, to me, is the simplest expression of self-love.
When caring for the body evolves into caring for the heart,
the heart in turn will illuminate the body.

If you truly wish to find yourself,
you will inevitably grow curious about the consciousness of your body,
and you will willingly choose to stay —
honestly, quietly — with it.

To seek oneself is to be brave.

When your body shows an abnormality, what will you bet on — the body, or medicine?
This isn’t a gamble of money; it’s a gamble of life.

Strictly speaking, my so-called “bet” doesn’t even exist — because at that moment, nine out of ten people will hand their life over to medicine.

The real bet happens before the body breaks down — in the choices we make when all seems fine.
To know your body early — that is the only bet you’ll ever surely win.

My understanding of mindfulness is rooted in a life built on deep fasting, meditation, and reverent sleep.
These habits have sharpened my senses, giving rise to a peculiar clarity.
Whenever negative emotions arise, I can trace them back to their mental origins while feeling the physical unease and pain being released from within.

This awareness grows stronger with each passing day.
It is a form of adaptation — a natural instinct that has always belonged to the body.
When we lose connection with the body, we lose the ability to understand it.

Every signal the body sends is a warning designed to protect us from suffering.
And through the daily rhythm of fasting, I have come to understand:
To stay free from illness is a belief.
To refuse to become ill — that is mindfulness.

The book Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us deeply inspired me.
It reminded me that I should not spend my life working for money,
but rather for value, for truth, and for wholeness of body and mind.

From that moment, I began rewriting all the scripts stored in my memory.
Almost every unpleasant event in life was somehow linked to money;
almost every misunderstanding, rooted in distorted or insincere motivation.

Life is short,
yet we spend most of it entangled in misguided motives —
missing love, empathy, and understanding —
until fatigue feels inevitable.

When lack and scarcity seep into the core of our motives,
our eyes lose their light,
and our actions lose their natural grace.

We have misunderstood the generosity of Heaven.
In truth, we were never lacking anything.
We have always been enough.

Health is a law of nature.
Illness is simply the misunderstanding born of motives that defy that law.

Many people fall ill because of rejection.
They turn rejection into anger, rejection into sorrow, rejection into a reservoir of emotional toxins.
They say, “Life is so bitter—my cry for help was rejected, my love was rejected, my efforts were rejected.”
They crave a response, yet the world remains silent.

This script is often replayed on the sickbed.
Illness has its causes, just as adversity has its roots.
When we fail to face what must be faced at the first moment, we eventually confront the consequence of rejection.

The sick rarely reflect on their situation.
Doctors will not refuse to treat you—but your body may already have refused to carry you further.
We reject our own bodies, and in return, the body rejects us.
This is the most honest script of rejection.

All illnesses stem from a lack of compatibility—between you and yourself, between you and your body.
If cancer research were to peel away layer after layer of causes, eventually identifying a “rejection factor,” I believe even scientists might not realize: it originates from the mutual rejection between us and our bodies.

Once you truly understand, you no longer need to study—but the question remains: Do you truly understand? Have you truly learned?

In every class, I remind students: “When the body is processing food, it cannot process waste.”
This is the most powerful revelation fasting has ever given me.

That single sentence has unfolded into countless awakenings in my students—and it has made the chair before me ever more precious.

Those who internalize that truth and bring fasting into their daily lives grow steadily in number. The guidance that arises from the body will never disappear among the crowd, nor will the wisdom of natural law ever vanish from the human world.

The Seat of Honor knows no age, gender, or education—it belongs to anyone who is willing to seize the moment.

Years ago, I saw fasting as a turning point in my life.
Now, I hold an even deeper conviction: an empty chair is far better than one occupied by someone unwilling to learn.

Because that chair belongs to those who choose to learn.
It is a chair shaped by willingness,
and one that can only be truly occupied by an empty cup heart.

Pause for a moment,
and truly examine the environment you inhabit.
Have we lost focus on the body’s own healing power,
replacing it instead with dependence on medical intervention?

Ask yourself:
Do we feel justified in our own existence?
Are we content?
Do we sense our bodies declining,
or are we willing to give them the chance to evolve further?

If we yearn for health and wholeness,
we must align with that wondrous force of healing—
to see the miracle bestowed by the Creator with reverence,
not to fill our bodies with human projections and manipulation.

It is the miracle that assembled the dust.
It is the miracle that shaped the dust into form.
It is the miracle that infused dust with love,
weaving it into the living poetry of existence.

One scholar published a book titled Eat Dirt,
reminding parents that the essential elements of health for children
are found within the soil itself.
We may scoff at this,
but we should never forget—
soil is not filth,
but the source of life given by miracle itself.

We are all dust,
and from dust we were born.
We share in the grace of miracles,
and thus must live by nature’s laws.
May we all learn to honor and cherish
the miracle of nature that lives within our very bodies.

Throughout my life, I have witnessed countless forms of arrogance—and have been submerged in them myself.
Until one day, I realized: no one has the right to be arrogant. Humans are not only small but profoundly fragile.

It was an awakening led by the body.
Between “the essence of health” and “the meaning of life,” I saw an intersection—
a path of humility toward the body, and compassion toward others.

Without the baptism of fasting, I would never have discovered the body’s primal intelligence.
Without listening to the confessions of countless patients, I would never have understood the emotional roots beneath cancer.

Everything follows the law of cause and effect.
Even if we cannot trace it to the origin, as the so-called highest species, we should never ignore that such a law exists.
Those who are told, “You are sick,” have both the right and the responsibility to seek the truth.

When it comes to health, I always return to “the supreme wisdom of biology.”
It is absurd that humanity asks only about treatment efficacy while ignoring the cause of healing.
Anyone willing to let the body return to cleanliness and flow will have the chance to witness its innate power to heal.

And yet, I still ask the heavens: how many are truly willing?

Beyond having motivation, I encourage every learner to continuously expand and deepen it.
Between learning and practice, keep asking yourself: Why do humans fall ill?

My realization is this: fasting is not merely a physical trial — it’s a psychological cultivation.
It synchronizes with the rhythms of sleep and elimination, becoming a natural part of the body’s law of balance.

Over the years, as fasting became part of my daily life, health and youth naturally followed.
Understanding why diseases exist has become one of the most valuable outcomes of cooperating with the body.

On the path of deepening fasting, I’ve witnessed my own discipline, willpower, and attitude toward life being quietly transformed.
The person I’ve become through continuous refinement is no longer the one I used to be.

這就是意識的故事,某個層面,是「正念」;另一層面,是「心想事成」;

When the body manifests abnormalities,
when something unwanted begins to grow,
there is meaning even in that occurrence.
Whether it remains or disappears
depends not on the surgeon’s knife,
but on whether you perceive the cause and meaning behind life itself.

This is the story of consciousness.
On one level, it is called mindfulness;
on another, manifestation;
in simpler terms, it is living in the present moment—
the very sum of humanity’s four endowments.

Once you realize that you are more than merely alive,
health will never be far away.
This is the clarity my body has given me:
fasting is only the beginning;
the true resonance between human and universe
comes from the power of consciousness.

From the body’s perspective, the gut is the source;
from the mind’s perspective, consciousness is the measure;
and on a higher level, only through continual dialogue with the spirit
can the true meaning of life be fulfilled.
